Merlin is our Kimba and Rookie son and was bred by Cyd Welsh in New Zealand.

His mom Kimba was No. 1 Weimaraner of the Year 2003 in Tasmania and No. 4 Weimaraner of the Year 2004 in Australia and has had many spectacular wins to date, including Best Of Breed at Sydney Royal 2004 (backed by her brother Phantom who won Dog CC!)

Merlin's dad Rookie brings some of America's crème de la crème with his pedigree, himself being son of the spectacular "Ali" BIS/BISS Am Ch Tri-D's Grand Finale - USA Weimaraner of the Year 2002 and sired by "Vince", Am Ch Tri-D's Invincible NSD BROM. Rookie obtained his NZ title in just 3 weeks and, having achieved his Aust Ch title in 2006, is the first Weimaraner in history to hold these three titles - Am / NZ / Aust Ch.

Merlin's sisters Greyflyte Ethereal "Capri" and Greyflyte Ocean Mist "Ocean" will be campaigned in New Zealand by Cyd Welsh. Ocean recently took Baby of Breed at her first show.
